Hippu has entertained children for over 50 years

Hippu is a small mouse created by much beloved Finnish author Oili Tanninen. Tanninen has created many children's books that are well recognised in the Nordics including Miiru and Nunnu. Hippu won the literature award Anni Swan-medal in 1970.

Hippu is adventuring with its friend Heppu the dog. They eat, they play, they go for a walk and then they fall asleep. The story is complemented by simple and timeless illustrations crafted in collague technique, giving it a retro feeling. The story still feels as fresh and contemporary as it did back in 1967 when it was first published. This classic story will keep entertaining children for many years to come.
